She's had magical tattoos for most of her life, and I wouldn't be surprised if they're visible in some way on a soul-type level at this point, since the language they're written in is a very large part of her identity as a mage.

She is not a good person. She has a tiny shred of good which she occasionally indulges for the sake of certain people, but China started out murder-happy and became very pointedly neutral later, where neutral means 'serving herself above any others.'
